“Harmony” and I had a great time as I wrote about below, but will not be eharmony’ing it up any more. No worries, it was a good match in all ways besides the fact that we won’t be getting married.
But, in my laziness the past few days, (and weeks in some regards) I’ve allowed a number of matches to pile up without doing anything about them. Why would I do that? Well, none have been all that intriguing to be honest. I actually got some pretty interesting profiles this morning and I’ll share a bit more later.
I have a good twenty matches to close out, or re-look at and I’m going to do this now…please wait.
OK, all done.
Now. in a match today there was an interesting anwer to, ‘what are you passionate about’? Now, most people of my match’s answers are somehow religious in nature. Not a bad thing for me. But this was great…
“im passionate about training my bloodhound to track scents”
Wow. Didn’t know that was such a passion for people. I guess I learn something new every day. Regardless, I have closed this match out. Speaking of closing matches out…I hated doing this. I feel bad. Really, it’s no fun. I just want to put ‘other’ and be done with it. Sigh, but I know I should at least give the person a reason, I would like that at least on my end when getting closed out. I’m tending towards, “I want to persue other matches at eharmony”. Totally true, understandable, and not too hurtful.
So, I have now 5 matches on the “slate” (the main screen on eharmony). Only 1 of which I can see ONE picture. Wow. you can tell I’m just estatic about that!!! Sigh. So, I send my first questions and hope that pictures will pop up when they respond. I just can’t fall for someone over e-mail, or the phone. My chemistry just doesn’t work that way. Anyway, the one match with a picture…who we will call “marie” seems interesting. I think I’d like to have coffee with her, but we will see if she responds.
That’s it for now. Ohh, and go see little miss sunshine. funniest movie I’ve seen in awhile. (lots of language though)
